Michael Roger Jordan

Michael Roger Jordan, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday September 24, 2020 in Georgetown, South Carolina. He was born on January 12, 1966 in Charlotte, North Carolina, to Mr. Roger Walters Jordan & Etta Kathleen (Johnson) Jordan.

Michael was an incredibly gifted craftsman who loved to create and build. His eye for beauty and perfection paved the way for his career. Michael proudly owned and operated his own tile setting and construction business for many years. In his free time, Michael loved being outdoors. He relished hunting and especially enjoyed fishing with his nephews, Joey & Brandon. When Michael wasn’t casting his lines, he could be found tinkering with various projects around his families’ beautiful home. Above all else, Michael loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him, but remembered for the amazing and devoted husband, father, papa, brother, uncle and friend he truly was.

Along with his parents, left to cherish Michael’s memory are his beloved wife, Mrs. Mary Ann (Crain) Jordan of Pawleys Island, SC; their children, Philip Jordan and his wife, Jennifer of Huntersville, NC, Jason Martin of Matthews, NC & Jennifer Parrish of Pawleys Island, SC; his adoring grandchildren, Elijah, Sean, Michael, Elizabeth, Hanna, & Ava Grace; brothers, Ryan Jordan and his wife, Trish of Zionville, NC, & Van Jordan and his children, Timothy & Zoee of Charleston, WV; his sister in-law, Beth Crain and her husband, Brian of Orlando, FL; nieces & nephews; Kailey and her husband, Archer, Brandon, Kendall, & Joey; as well as numerous aunts and uncles; a large, loving extended family and many supportive friends, neighbors and patrons.

A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Saturday October 3, 2020 at 2:00pm at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
