May Lombardi Obituary

May Long Lombardi, 87, of Myrtle Beach, passed away peacefully Friday, October 9, 2020 at Embrace Hospice House to join her husband, Carmine, who passed on March 1, 2020.

Born in Staten Island, NY, May was the daughter of the late Raymond John Long and Mabel Hildegard Swanson Long. In June of 1952, May married the love of her life, Carmine Lombardi. They relocated to Myrtle Beach from Staten Island 25 years ago to enjoy the warmer weather, the water, and golf. May was a Lutheran by faith and loved her friends and most importantly, her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Celmer and her husband Charles of North Brunswick, NJ; grandson, Joseph Celmer; brother, Raymond Long; and niece Kerstin Long. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Lombardi, and a nephew, Martin Long.

The family requests memorials be made the charity of your choice.
