Maryann Olson Obituary

Maryann Olson, 71, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday September 19, 2021 at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee in Florence, South Carolina. She was born on June 25, 1950 in Dillon, South Carolina to the late Roscoe & Margaret Lowery Eddings.

Along with her parents, Maryann is reunited in death with her beloved husband of over 22 years, Leslie "Les" Olson; and her brothers, Billy Ray Eddings, Michael Lowery, & Gregory Buffum.

Maryann was a hardworking woman with a heart of gold. She was a skilled and dedicated CNA who had the honor of helping those suffering with Alzheimer’s and dementia for over 20 years. Following her well-deserved retirement, Maryann was able to enjoy the finer things in life. In her free time, Maryann could be found shopping, reading and playing games on her tablet. She took pride in her interior decorating and relished making memories with her family. Above all else, Maryann loved her family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Maryann's memory are her adoring daughters Kelly Perry and her husband Paul of Marion, SC & Wanda Garcia of Nashua, NH; grandchildren, Nicholas Perry and wife, Destiny of Marion, SC, Brian Jalbert of Manchester, NH, Tiffany Garcia of Nashua, NH, & Jeremy Garcia and wife Mallorie of Nashua, NH; great-grandchildren, Xavier Jalbert, Seveah Jalbert, Christopher Fernandez, Rosa Fernandez, Destinee Garcia, Jeremy Garcia, Jr., Anthony Garcia, Colton Scott Perry, & Piper Jo Equalia Perry; sisters, Candace Feliciano, Verna Dodge, Samantha Hebert, Margaret Gleason, & Gwendolyn Buffum; brothers, Harold Eddings, Roscoe Eddings, Jr., Roy Eddings, Rylie Eddings, & John Buffum; a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Maryann’s life will be held privately.
