Mary Belle Sheppard

Mary Belle Sheppard, age 90, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away peacefully Sunday January 16, 2022 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, SC.

Born in Parkersburg, WV, Mrs. Sheppard was the daughter of the late Albert McNamara and Helen McNamara.  A member of Belin Memorial United Methodist Church, Mrs. Sheppard enjoyed traveling with her husband.  She especially enjoyed camping and cruises.  Mrs. Sheppard was a talented artist who was known for her decorative Faberge’ eggs. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sheppard is preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Clair Eugene Sheppard.

Survivors include her sons, Stephen Sheppard, (Cheryl Ellefson) of Murrells Inlet, SC; Greg Sheppard (Donna Briscoe) of DeLeon Springs, FL; grandchildren, JC, Daniel, Rob; 6 great-grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday January 26, 2022 at Belin Memorial UMC in Murrells Inlet, SC with interment following in the church cemetery.
