Mary Elizabeth Lassiter

Mary Elizabeth Lassiter, 75, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Wednesday April 27, 2022. She was born on December 20, 1946 in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Carroll Lewis Wilson and Dorothy Margaret Smith.

Elizabeth was a hardworking woman with a heart of gold. She was a skilled and dedicated finance and Insurance adjuster for the automotive industry for over 20 years. Elizabeth had an eye for beauty and enjoyed taking pictures at family events. She was a devoted Nanny to Wendy and Paul Hansmeyer’s children, Hope & Austin. Above all else, Elizabeth loved her family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Elizabeth’s memory are her adoring husband of over 23 years, Mr. William Lemmie Lassiter, III of Myrtle Beach; step-daughter, Shanda Lynn (William) Capers; sister, Jackie Martin; brother, Harry Wilson; step-grandchildren, Samantha & Riley; great-grandson, Leo; as well as a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

Elizabeth is reunited in passing with her parents and her brother, Louis Wilson.

A Celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held on Tuesday May 3, 2022 at 4:30PM at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
