Mary (Raucci) Brazey

Mary Raucci Brazey, 74, formerly of Hamden, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 16, 2022 at her home in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She was born on March 21, 1948 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late Thomas & Ida Raucci.

Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Raucci of West Haven, CT.

Mary was an incredibly hard working woman. She worked in the insurance industry for many years and proudly worked for Toys for Tots. Mary enjoyed trips to Vegas and going on cruises. Above all else, Mary loved her family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Left to cherish Mary’s memory are her husband of over 55 years, Joseph T. Brazey of Myrtle Beach; son, Richard P. Brazey of Norfolk, CT.; daughter, Ryan G. Brazey of New Britain, CT; brother, Michael Raucci of Hamden, CT; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

The family wishes to acknowledge, and will be forever grateful for, the whole Calling family- for their kindness and love during this difficult time.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date.
