Martha Jean (Porupski) Brydon

Martha Jean Brydon, 76, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away peacefully Monday December 29, 2025, at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital.

Formerly of Whippany, NJ, Martha was born in Manhattan, NY the daughter of the late John Porupski and Mary Saupp-Porupski.

Martha loved to bring joy to others, whether through arts and crafts or the sound of her infectious laughter. She was equally happy spending time in and around the water, drawn to the ocean's beauty. Above all else, she cherished the time spent with her granddaughter, whom she loved to spoil.

In addition to her parents Martha is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Brydon and her brother, Lloyd Porupski.

Survivors include her son, Patrick Brydon, Raleigh, NC; her granddaughter, Azalea Brydon, Raleigh, NC; sister, Norma Murphy, PA.

A Celebration of Martha’s life will be held at a later date with day and time to be announced.
