Marion D. Savage

Marion D. Savage, age 86 of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, died Monday February 9, 2026 at Grand Strand Myrtle Beach. Born September 12, 1939 in Selbyville, DE, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy Savage (nee Tyre).

Marion was a retired nurse of 30 years. She was a graduate of Selbyville High School and received her BSN in nursing from UMBC. In her spare time, she loved to garden, walk on the beach, was an accomplished painter, loved to cross stitch, and hang out at church.

Her survivors include 4 sisters and 3 brothers, her sons William Brenner of Damariscotta, ME, Michael Brenner of Baltimore, MD, and Daughter Ruth and son in law Jake Klein of Aubrey, TX. She is also survived by Grandson Hunter Brenner and Granddaughters Madalyne Brenner, Hannah Klein, and Stephanie Brenner.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 7, 2026, at Burroughs Funeral Home; 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576, from 11am - 1 pm. The service will also be live streamed at Burroughsfh.com
