Our dear Lynn was the glue that held our small family together. She passed peacefully with her niece, Anita Bock, and her beloved son, Joe Ruppert by her bedside with her son, John Ruppert, and the rest of her family sending prayers for her comfort.
Lynn was born in Columbia, Pennsylvania and grew up in York, Pennsylvania. She lived in Florida for several years where she met her beloved husband, Lenny. They were avid boaters and loved to fish. They moved to South Carolina for Lenny’s work and stayed there the rest of their lives on 6 lovely country acres called the “Double L” Ranch.
Lynn was a weekend skier in her youth. She was fearless and loved a challenge. She got her sewing skills from her mother and spent her entire life sewing, crafting, and quilting. She was a life member of the Landrum Quilters, Campobello, SC, where she served as “Queen Bee” many times. She loved the many wonderful friends she made in that group.
Lynn is survived by her twin sons, Joe, wife Terri, and John Ruppert; niece, Anita Bock, husband, Frank Swope; niece Lanea Brevdick, husband, Mark; nephew, Christopher Becker; along with 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 4 great nieces and nephews; and her sister, Hope Botterbusch.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Gramling Methodist Church, Campobello, SC.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the church in Lynn’s name would be greatly appreciated.
Burroughs Funeral Home and Cremation Services (843.651.1440) of Murrells Inlet is assisting the family with arrangements.
