Lucille Daigle DiPaolo, 85, of Murrells Inlet, SC, and formally of Connecticut, peacefully passed away at home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Lucille was born on August 24, 1939, in New Brunswick, Canada to the late Vincent and Anita Michaud Daigle.
In addition to her parents, Lucille is predeceased by her husband, Vincent DiPaolo.
Lucille is survived by a son, Richard DiPaolo (Janice Doering) of Suffield, CT; a daughter, Louise Pelletier and her husband Danny of Trego, WI; two granddaughters, Charlene Pelletier of Myrtle Beach and Emily Zajac and her husband Mike of Webster, WI; two great grandsons, Colin Zajac and Dilan Zajac; a brother Jean-Guy Daigle of CT; and a brother-in-law, Fred DiPaolo and his wife Yolanda, of NY.
Lucille loved watching the UCONN Girl’s Basketball and many other college and pro sports teams. She loved to play cards with her friends and her passion for travel took her to St. Maarten every year for twenty years.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Brian and Marcia Sanford, Norma Robasky, Jessica and Josh Sanchez, Samantha Saunders, and the Crescent Hospice Team.
A memorial service honoring Lucille will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 11:00 am at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a memorial donation in Lucille’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
