Lonnie Ray Sims Sr, 62, passed away peacefully Sunday April 25, 2021 at his Conway home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Lancaster, SC, Lonnie was the son of the late Tommy Sims and Betty Lou Starnes. He enjoyed the small things in life like repairing small engines and sitting on his porch while enjoying nature. Lonnie especially enjoyed spending quality time with his children, grandchildren and his faithful dog and best friend Pebbles. In addition to his parents, Lonnie is predeceased by his brothers, Larry Sims and Dennis Sims and his sister, Kathy Sims.

Survivors include his sons, Lonnie Ray Sims, Jr. of Lancaster; Timothy David Sims of Conway, SC; daughter, Angela Marie Sims of Chester, SC; grandchildren, Andrew Sims of Chester; Maleah “Lexi” Sims, Trinity “Kira” Sims and Shyenne Sims all of Kershaw; Hayden Sims of Georgetown; Kiersten “Kissy” Sims of Myrtle Beach; great grandchildren, Kace Douglas of Kershaw and soon to be expected baby Raiden; brothers, Eddie Sims, Bruce Sims, Eric Starnes and sister Barbara Adams all of Lancaster.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Lancaster, SC on May 8th, 2021 between 11 AM and 1 PM.
