Lloyd Hall Obituary

Lloyd Hall, 79, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He was born on July 26, 1940 in Clark County, Indiana to the late James Hall & Edna (Mikesell) Hall.

Along with his parents, Lloyd is reunited in death with his first wife, Edith Hall; and all of his siblings.

Lloyd proudly served his country in the United States Army. While enlisted, Lloyd saw Vietnam twice and was very proud of the skills he learned while fighting for his country. Following Lloyd’s honorable discharge and retirement from the Army, he continued to work and manage the main commissary on base for more than 30 years. Lloyd was a hardworking and dedicated man who would stop at nothing to ensure his family was cared for. In his free time, Lloyd enjoyed being a handy man with a sweet tooth. He could most often be found tinkering with various projects, puttering about in his workshop or detailing his meticulously maintained property. Lloyd is described as a cookie connoisseur with a special love for Oreos and Peeps. Above all else, Lloyd was a Man’s man who would gladly offer the shirt from his back, to those in need. He will forever be remembered for the amazing husband, father, step-father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend that he truly was. Lloyd will be missed for his caring demeanor, hard work and love for his family.

Left to cherish Lloyd’s memory are his beloved wife of 15 years, Ms. Diane (Gryminewicz) Hall of Murrells Inlet; daughter, Regina Mitchell and her husband, Robert of CO; step-daughter, Kim Agostini of CT; his adoring grandchildren, Alex, Peter, Madalyn, Emily, Marissa, Alex, & Tyler; sister, Connie Hall of IN; his faithful k9 companions, George & Ginger; as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended, family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Lloyd’s life will be held privately.
