Linda Kate Jones

Linda Kate Jones was born in Fredericksburg, VA, on December 7, 1963, and went to be with the Lord early Tuesday Morning, October 5, 2021 at Conway Medical Center after an extended illness.

Linda spent her life loving children and working in the childcare profession. After spending 15 years at Kid Zone Afterschool Care at Waccamaw Elementary School in Conway, she continued to care for children in her own home up until her illness.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, Tommie Jones as well as her maternal grandparents, James & Edith Chapman, formerly of Socastee and paternal grandparents, William & Edith Jones, formerly of Montross VA. Linda is survived by her mother, Judy Ann Jones of Conway; brothers, James (Jane) Jones of Conway & David (Shari) Jones of Mt. Vernon, IL; sister, April (Gyland) Altman of Conway; as well as multiple nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life at Waccamaw Christian Family Worship, 508 Hwy 90, Conway, SC 29526 on Saturday October 9, 2021 at 10am. The family will receive visitors at that time.
