Linda Ann Gilhuly

Linda Ann Gilhuly, 54, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. She was born June 29, 1971, in Lakewood, New Jersey, daughter of Brian Matthew McGough and Faye Diane Schwarz McGough.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of twenty-nine years, Robert Anthony Gilhuly, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC; son, Robert Michael Gilhuly of Austin, TX; daughter, Marisa Gilhuly of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Keith McGough and his wife, Kim of Jackson, NJ; and sister, Lorrie Pugliese and her husband, Frank of Murrells Inlet, SC.

Linda enjoyed spending time cooking, walking and taking care of people. She excelled in her job as a nurse, being a caregiver was everything to her. She spent time working as the director of 2 East at Tidelands Waccamaw Hospital, also at Encompass Health, and most recently she was a director/professor at Galen College of Nursing in Myrtle Beach.
