Linda Faye Eason

Linda Faye Eason, 70, of Murrells Inlet, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2020 at her home with loved ones by her side. She was born March 15, 1949 in Greenville, SC, was a daughter to Claudie Wilson England and the late Ernest England. In addition to her father Ernest, Linda was preceded in death by her brother Gene England and her daughter Michelle Brown.

In life, Linda worked as a caregiver at the day care for Belin Memorial United Methodist Church. She loved taking care of the children and took great pride in her work. In her leisure time, Linda also loved fishing, shopping and spending time with family and friends.

Left behind to cherish Linda’s memory is her large and loving family, including her devoted husband of 51 years, Thomas “Tom” Eason, her daughter Heather Peterson (Robert) of Rockford, IL, her mother, Claudia England, grandchildren Christy Brown, Caleb Peterson, Kalei Peterson and Addy Peterson, her great-grandchildren Malik Myers and Diondre Myers, her sister Peggy Nobles (Terry) of Pawleys Island, brother Roger England (Brenda) of Georgetown, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Belin Memorial UMC. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made in Linda’s memory to the Belin Memorial United Methodist Church or to the St. Jude Children’s Reasearch Hospital.
