Linda Marie (Poole) Brubaker

Linda Marie Brubaker, 78, passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side on Saturday August 16, 2025. She was born on March 18, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York to the late William & Connie Pace Poole.

Linda was a hardworking woman with a heart of gold and a zest for life. While in the north, she was a skilled claims adjuster for many years and following her well-deserved retirement and relocation to Myrtle Beach, Linda went to work as a school bus driver for Horry County Schools and proudly worked at Forestbrook Middle School in the school library. In her free time, Linda relished time spent with family and making memories with friends. Above all else, Linda loved her family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Linda’s memory are her adoring husband of over 28 years, Richard Brubaker of Myrtle Beach; her son, Vinnie Sardo of Caldwell, NJ; 3 granddaughters, Demi, Cassie & Angie; sister, Michele Glynn of AZ; brother, William "Bill" Pool; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors. 

A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 3:30pm on Sunday September 7, 2025 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family gather to greet friends from 2pm until the time of service. 

At the request of the family, please consider memorial contributions in lieu of flowers. Donations in Linda’s name may be made to Associated Charities, 742 Lumber St, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
