Lauren B. Lantiegne, 79, of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, and formerly of Auburn and Rutland, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Lauren was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, to the late Lawrence J. and Elvie K. Mantyla Lantiegne.
Lauren was raised in Rutland, MA, where she graduated from Wachusett Regional High School. She went on to attend Worcester State University (previously Worcester State College), earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. She later achieved her Master’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration and built a respected career as a self-employed CPA, working for many years with dedication and professionalism.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Lauren was deeply devoted to her family and friends. She cherished time spent traveling and especially loved her most recent trip on a Mississippi River Cruise and loved the special friends that she made on that cruise.
Lauren leaves behind four sisters, her twin, Karen Lantiegne of Murrells Inlet, Deborah Baxter of Pompano Beach, FL, Suzanne Saven of Hubbardston, MA and Mary Jane Quist and her husband Robert of Holden, MA; a brother, Lawrence Lantiegne and his wife Cynthia of Rutland, MA; nine nieces and nephews; and eleven grandnieces and grandnephews.
In addition to her parents, Lauren was predeceased by her brother, John Lantiegne and her nephew, Mark Baxter.
Interment will be at Rural Cemetery in Rutland, MA with a graveside service at the discretion of the family.
