Kevin J Scanlon

Kevin J. Scanlon, 58, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, formerly of Centereach, Long Island, New York, passed away on July 11, 2026.

Born on August 17, 1967, in the Bronx, New York, Kevin was the beloved son of Harvey and Elizabeth Scanlon. He was known for his love of golf, spending time outdoors, and enjoying life's simple pleasures with family and friends.

Kevin is survived by his devoted wife, Adele Scanlon of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; his three sons, Patrick Scanlon of West Babylon, New York, Collin Scanlon of Manorville, New York, and Jack Scanlon of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He is also survived by his brother, Bill Scanlon of Wayne, New Jersey, and his sister, Heather Scanlon of Las Vegas, Nevada, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate Kevin's life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Ridge Volunteer Fire Department on Long Island, New York. Refreshments will follow the service. Kevin will be remembered for his love of family, his appreciation for the outdoors, and the many memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. His kindness, laughter, and enduring spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
