Kenny Jordan

Kenneth E. Jordan, 71, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his Murrells Inlet residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 15, 1949 in Conway, SC, son of the late Boydell Calvin Jordan and Gladys Nobles Jordan. 

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by the love of his life, Suzie Conner Jordan.

Kenny is survived by his son, KJ Jordan, Jr. and his wife, Merritt of Myrtle Beach; two daughters, Kristy Benton and her husband, Ashley of Myrtle Beach and Michelle Jordan of Murrells Inlet; brother, Teddy Jordan of Whiteville, NC; two sisters, Carolyn Teasley of Conway, and Jackie Roy and her husband, Raymond of Cincinnati, OH; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Lexi, Rylie, Reese, Kinsley and Konner. He also leaves behind a wonderful and caring companion, Teresa Christian.

Kenny owns and operates Southern Strand Realty. He also owned and operated Kenny’s Scissors Shak in Surfside Beach for many years.

He was a lifelong Gamecock fan and enjoyed tailgating with his family and friends. He loved traveling in his motorhome, riding his Harley Davidson, boating, golfing, snow skiing, and most importantly spending time with the ones he loved. He always lived life to the fullest, making the most of every moment. Of all of his passions, his family always came first.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, 1000 SC-544, Conway, SC 29526. A celebration of Kenny’s life will follow at the home of his daughter, Kristy.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet.
