Kenneth Alan Stitely

Kenneth Alan Stitely, 42, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 12, 2022 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. He was born in Hagerstown, Maryland on June 23, 1979 to Kenneth Eugene Stitely and Debra Kay Violet.

Kenny is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Violet; and fur-babies, Spunky & Hercules, (Mr. Peabody).

Kenny loved animals especially his dogs. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed going to work each and every day. Some of Ken’s hobbies included collecting golf balls and mallard duck figurines. Ken was also a member of the Tupelo Bay Golf Center in Garden City. Above all else, he loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Kenny’s memory are his wife, Melissa Stitely of Myrtle Beach SC; fur-baby, Daisy Mae; father-in- law, John Prince; mother-in- law, Katherine Prince; sister-in-law, Jennifer Fantoni; brother-in-law, Bryon Fantoni; nephew, Jonathon Fontoni; sister-in-law, Laura Prince Rice; brother-in-law, Matt Rice; father, Kenneth Eugene Stitley; mother, Debra Kay Violet; brother, Nickolas Stitely; brother, Christopher Stitely; several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

The family wishes to acknowledge, with heartfelt appreciation, the kindness, care and compassion shown to them by all, during this difficult time. To our FBI Construction family, Station 20- C Shift with Horry County Fire Rescue, the staff at Grand Strand Hospital and all of the friends and family, for providing continued support. Ken’s zest for life will live on through those able to receive Ken’s last gifts of organ donation. May God bless all of you.

A graveside service will be held on Friday June 17, 2022 at 11:00am at Oceanwoods Memorial Cemetery in Myrtle Beach. A celebration of life will be held at Grand Strand Church of Christ in Surfside Beach SC on Saturday June 25, 2022 at 2:00pm.
