Kennard John Sensor, 72, of Pawleys Island, SC, formerly of Oaklyn, NJ, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. He was born August 24, 1953, in Woodbury, NJ, son of the late Kennard F. Sensor and Frances Purdy Sensor.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Nancy Sensor of Pawleys Island, SC; three children, Kennard G. Sensor (Nicole Faggiola) of Broomall, PA, Jamie Kennedy (Joshua) of Haddon Township, NJ, and Shaun Sensor (Erica) of Springfield, PA; sister, Johanna Hertrich (Carl) of Wilmington, DE; brother, Peter Sensor of Thailand; grandchildren, Riley, Quinn, Reese, Rayna, Taylor; as well as many extended family members and close friends.
He enjoyed playing golf, going to the beach, watching his Fightin Phils, and above all spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He was also a loyal Parrothead and those that knew him best heard him say, “I am the Pirate Jimmy” at the dozens of concerts he attended with family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00am Thursday, October 30, 2025 at St. Alloysius Church (St. Joseph the Worker Parish), 37 W. Haddon Avenue, Oaklyn, NJ 08107. The family will receive friends the night prior to the service from 6-8pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Gardner Funeral Home, 126 S. Black Horse Pike Runnemede, NJ 08078.
