Kelly Ann Papotto, age 49, loving, faithful wife of Dr. Joseph Papotto, died Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at her home in Myrtle Beach. Kelly was born on August 30th, 1967 in York, Pennsylvania to Linda Sohnleitner and Anthony Sexton.
Kelly was more than a person, she was a true force of nature. Spontaneous, energetic, unselfish, a caring Good Samaritan, she was mostly found in perpetual motion. She was her children's biggest fan and advocate and protective as a she-bear. She lost her battle with a rare, malignant disease but won the ultimate prize: graduation from this mortal life to be with her Lord Jesus, the Resurrection and the Life.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Dr. Joseph Papotto, their triplets, Jesse, Gian and Reyna Papotto and her daughter, Jill Singleton and his son, Jason Papotto. Kelly co-founded and was the practice manager with her husband at Life in a Blender Family Medicine in Conway which has been thrice awarded "Best of the Beach" status.
Kelly had a vivacious, warm and incandescent personality. She loved people and loved God. "Kelly" means "Warrior". In my entire experience as a physician I have never seen a more courageous fight for life than what Kelly demonstrated. Farewell my love, until we meet again beyond heaven's gate!
A Celebration of Kelly's Life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 15, 2016 (Postponed from the original date of October 8th on account of Hurricane Matthew) at NewSpring Church, 3001 Waccamaw Boulevard, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
