Kelley Rabon, 52, passed away unexpectedly after an ongoing battle with an illness, on Saturday June 25, 2022 at her home on Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born locally in Socastee, on March 13, 1970.
Kelley was a spirited soul with a true zest for life. She had an outgoing personality which made it so she never met a stranger. Following graduation from high school, Kelley traveled to Vermont for acting lessons and acted in several plays with prominent directors. Kelley was a triple threat- actor, dancer & singer/songwriter. In her younger years and while living in Manhattan, Kelley worked for a catering company and proudly furnished meals for Frank Sinatra while he was performing at Radio City Music Hall. Later in life and following her return to the beach area, Kelley found peace while fishing, riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycle and dancing. She enjoyed her quiet time spent playing games online and she was an avid character in World of Warcraft. Above any and all else, Kelley loved her husband and family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish Kelley’s memory are her adoring husband, Ona “Bud” Rabon of Myrtle Beach; his sons, Richard "Ricky" Rabon and wife Angie, William "Will" Rabon and wife, Kelly & Craig Rabon all of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Jordan Rabon, Parker, Eva & Emery Rabon, and Lucas & Miriah Rabon; two great-granddaughters; her father, Lawrence Foy and wife, Beth of FL; mother, Winnie Archambo and her late husband, Jim of Myrtle Beach; twin sister, Michelle of WA; as well as a loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A Celebration of Kelley’s life will be held at a later date. Those details will be announced when finalized.
