Kathleen Therese Reddy

Kathleen Therese Reddy, 74, of Surfside Beach, SC; passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 3, 2022. She was born on February 10, 1948 in New York, New York to the late John & Alice McLoughlin Dunham.

Along with her parents, Kathleen is reunited in passing with her brother, John Dunham.

Kathleen was a devoted wife and mother with a heart of gold. While in New York, she was a school board member for the Nanuet School District for over 15 years. Following her retirement and relocation to Surfside Beach, Kathleen was able to enjoy the finer things in life. In her free time Kathleen enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, reading and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. The social butterfly, Kathleen never met a stranger and relished making memories with her friends and family. Kathleen will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her bright smile, infectious laughter and the love she had for her family.

Left to cherish Kathleen’s memory are her beloved husband of over 52 years, William Joseph Reddy of Surfside Beach, SC; son, William James Reddy and wife, Christine of Pearl River, NY; daughters, Meredith Farrar and her husband, Rickey of Stony Point, NY, Suzanne Finnegan and her husband Marc of Pearl River, NY, and Stephanie White and her husband, David of Prospect, KY; nine grandchildren, Robert, Liam, Sebastian, Ethan, Katherine, Harry, Ellie, James, and Margaret; brother, Joseph Dunham and wife, Kathy of Long Island, NY; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Kathleen’s life will be held on Monday August 8, 2022 at 11:00AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Ave. Garden City, SC 29576. The family will gather to greet friends within the church narthex from 10:00am, until the time of service. Inurnment will immediately follow, within the church columbarium.
