Judith Michaels

Judith E. Michaels, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday November 14th, 2023, at her home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Judy was born on September 25, 1947, in Lawrence, Massachusetts to the late Helen (Ameen) & Edward Shaia.

Along with her parents, Judy is reunited in passing with her beloved sister, Beverly (Shaia) Naffah.

Judy was an incredibly selfless and generous woman with a heart of gold. She enjoyed spending time at the ocean, tending to her garden and many plants, and devoting time to family near and far. Judy will forever be remembered for her smile that lit up a room, her delicious Lebanese dishes, and her unconditional love for family.

Left to cherish Judy’s memory are her husband, Joseph Michaels, her daughter Courtney Pashos with her husband Luke Pashos and Judy’s first grandson Chris Pashos, her brother Bruce Shaia, her nephew Michael Naffah and his husband Kelley Skidmore, her nephew Gregory Naffah and his children Zachary and Marissa Naffah, several cousins, a large loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

At the request of family, Judy’s celebration of life will be held privately.
