Joyce Ann (Michaels) Kamp

Joyce Ann Kamp, 90, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at her home in Conway, South Carolina. She was born on July 28, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to the late Robert Raymond Michaels & Flossie Faye Ogg Michaels.

Along with her parents, Joyce is reunited in passing with her beloved husband of over 63 years, Glenn Kamp; son, Michael Glenn Kamp; and brother, Milton Neal Michaels.

Joyce had a zest for life and an outgoing personality to match. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling with her family especially to the mountains and on cruises. In her quiet time, Joyce relished time reading, cooking and making memories with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Myrtle Beach Christian Church where she made life long friends. Above all else, Joyce loved her family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Joyce’s memory are he children, Ronald Lynn Kamp and wife, Novenda of Myrtle Beach & Lou Ann Edwards and husband, Del of Conway; grandchildren, Shawn, Alicia (Keith), Nicole (Patrick), Rhyan, Kori and Kiri; 12 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Peggy Kamp of Surfside Beach; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Joyce’s life will be held privately.
