Joseph Martin Obituary

Joseph Franklin Martin, 71, of Conway, SC, passed away at Conway Medical Center. Joseph was born in Mullins, SC to the late Lonnie G. and Nina A. Martin, Sr.

Joseph was an Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He loved traveling with his wife Cynthia, and taking care of her. He also loved spending precious time with his granddaughters.

In addition to his wife Cynthia, Joseph is survived by a stepson Jamie, a stepdaughter Amber Cook (Alex), two granddaughters, Emma Reese Cook and Addie Lynn Cook, a sister Vashti Goheen, and two brothers, Lonnie Martin and Oscar Don Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, three sisters, Sarah Martha Martin, Mildred “Micki” Rogers, and Evelyn “Emmy” Martin, and a brother, Hagood “Slick” Martin.

A memorial service for Joseph will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Little Lamb Church, 2280 Little Lamb Road, Conway, SC 29527. Lunch will be provided after the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Little Lamb Church.
