Joni Lynn Strohl

Joni Lynn Strohl, 70, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at her residence. She was born on December 29, 1955 in Charlotte, North Carolina, daughter of the late, Paul Carson Snipes and Anna Lee Hancock Snipes.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, James Womack; and a brother-in-law, George Wilkens.

She is survived by her husband, David Strohl of Myrtle Beach SC; two children, Greg Duffield of Las Vegas, NV and Jodie Farr of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Sandy Wilkens of Hesperia, California, Barbara Tompkins of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Paul Snipes and his wife, Sherry of Palm Springs, CA and Michael Snipes of Las Vegas, NV; one grandson, Matthew Farr; nephew, Steve Tompkins of Arkansas; special friend, Sheri Palmer of Myrtle Beach, SC; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Joni enjoyed spending time traveling, playing golf, collecting turtle keepsakes and attending and being apart of the Church at Ocean Lakes.

A celebration of Joni’s life will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, February 15, 2026 at the Ocean Lakes Family Campground Church, 6001 S Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29575.
