John Timothy Reardon, 71, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He was born on January 2, 1949 in Meriden, Connecticut to the late John Timothy Reardon & Phyllis Kennedy Reardon.
Along with his parents, Tim is reunited in passing by his sister, Louise Olsen & brother, David Reardon.
Tim had an outgoing personality, who enjoyed meeting and talking to new people. He never met a stranger and would make anyone feel welcome. He was a skilled and well trained sheet metal foreman for Sheet Metal Workers Local 40 for many years. Following his well-deserved retirement, Tim was about to enjoy the finer things in life. In his free time, Tim loved playing golf and relished cheering on the Red Sox with his grandsons. Above all else, Tim loved his family with his whole heart. Tim will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor and love for his family.
Left to cherish Tim’s memory are his adoring wife of 52 years, Carol Pietras Reardon of Murrells Inlet; two daughters, Christine Reardon and her husband, Jeff Davis of Washington, DC & Kathleen Roch and her husband, Dave of Eagle River, AK; two sons, Michael Reardon and his wife, Stacy of Wallingford, CT & Robert Reardon and his wife, Stephanie of North Branford, CT; nine grandchildren, Rebecca, Sean, Matthew, Cody, Cheyanne, Robert, Benjamin, Taryn, & Lauren; great-grandson, Isiah; brother Gerald Reardon; sisters, Patricia Hargrove & Rosanne Reardon; grand-dogs, Kobuk, Kenai, Jettie; and Tim’s beloved dog, Mystic; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A Celebration of Tim’s life will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Ave. Garden City, SC.
A Celebration of Tim's life will be held in Connecticut 10:30am Saturday, January 9, 2021 at SS. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, 139 N. Orchard Street, Wallingford, CT 06492.
