John Michael Anderson

John Michael Anderson, 61, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday July 1, 2026 at his home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was born on September 25, 1964 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Daniel C. Anderson & Mana M. Stanley Anderson.

Michael, as he was affectionately known as- was a hard-working man with an eye for detail and a zest for life. He considered himself a Jack of All Trades but had a specialty with heating and refrigeration. When he wasn't working, Michael found peace outdoors. He enjoyed NASCAR and dirt track racing, camping, fishing, traveling, and spending time in the mountains. Above all, he treasured making memories with family and friends. Mike will be deeply missed and always remembered for his generous spirit, quick wit, and loyal friendship.

Left to cherish Mike’s memory are his adoring wife of over 42 wonderful years, Mrs. Sara Louise McClellan Anderson; and their son, John Daniel Anderson- both of the home. Michael is also survived by a large, loving, extended family and an army of supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held at a later date. Those details will be announced when finalized.
