Jessica (Brantley) Putnam

With deep love and sorrow, we share that Jessica Brantley Putnam passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, August 10th 2025. She was surrounded by her family until the very end but we rejoice now knowing she is no longer suffering and is fully healed, fully whole, and fully loved in the presence of her Savior.

Jessica was a light in the lives of everyone who knew her- a devoted wife and mother, cherished daughter, sister, and friend- her life was one full of laughter and contagious joy. To know her was to love her. Jes had a special gift for making those around her feel seen and known, the life of every party, and a heart to encourage others even in her own hardest days.

Her faith in Jesus carried her through every season, and through every obstacle, she kept her heart fixed on Him. Her legacy and testimony will leave a lasting impression on every life she touched.

The joy of Jessica’s life was her family. Her husband, Dustin and son, Brantley were loved beyond measure and in spite of her long battle with cancer, she did everything possible to not miss a moment of making memories with them. They were her dream come true. A daddy’s girl, her mother’s best friend, her big brother’s biggest fan, and her nieces and nephews’ favorite Aunt Jecka-Jes loved fiercely with her whole heart and was a treasured friend to so many throughout her short life. She is remembered for so many things but most importantly for how she uplifted everyone around her.

We’ll miss her laughter, her kindness, and the way she made the world feel a little lighter just for her being here. But we know she’s home now—and we take comfort in knowing she is free from pain, in perfect peace, and watching over us until we meet again.

A celebration of Jessica’s life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Palmetto Pointe Church of God, 2901 Fantasy Way, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
