Jesse L. Moore, Jr.

Jesse L. Moore, Jr., 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at his home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He was born on September 22, 1944 in Eden, North Carolina to the late Jesse L. Moore, Sr., & Jewel Younger Smith.

Along with his parents, Jesse is reunited in death with his son, Chris Hawks & granddaughter, Krystle Moore.
 
Jesse was a free spirit with a heart of gold and a very generous man. He retired from Ryder Transportation and worked in sales management within the trucking industry for many years. In his free time, Jesse loved singing gospel music & karaoke as well as fishing and making memories with friends. Above all else, Jesse loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.
 
Left to cherish Jesse’s memory are his children, Dale Moore and his wife, Kelly, Deanna Moore Minter and her husband, Randy, Michael Moore and his wife, Crystal & step-daughter, Melissa Wright; granddaughters, Brandy Moore Thrower, & Jessica Fassas; grandsons, Craig Adams & Austin Moore; three great-grandchildren; brother, Tim Smith and his wife, Ruth; sister, Deb Elixson and her husband, Joey; his dear friend, Nancy Logan; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors he considered family.

A Celebration of Jesse’s life will be held on Saturday July 17, 2021 at 2 PM - Inlet Oaks Assisted Living, 12287 SC-707, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
