Jeane D. (Rauch) Romberger

Jeane D. Romberger, 96, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday March 27, 2023 at her home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 8, 1926 to the late Michael Eugene Rauch & Orelia Valerie Koch Rauch.

Along with her parents, Jeane is reunited in passing with her beloved husband of 71 years, Robert Arthur Romberger; brother, Bernard "Bernie" Eugene Rauch; and three great-grandsons, Tucker, Tanner & Theodore Swartz.

Jeane was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She had a zest for life and enjoyed making memories with her loved ones. Early in life Jeane, was a skilled realtor while living in St. Louis. After marrying Bob, they began their history in Toledo, Ohio, and then continued on to Chicago, Illinois, Kansas City, Kansas, back to St. Louis, Missouri, then Batesville, Indiana, Oakville, Ontario Canada, Sun City West, Arizona, Southern Pines, North Carolina, and finally Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In her free time, Jeane enjoyed knitting, reading, photography, painting, golf and word searches. She was a member of Belin UMC in Murrells Inlet. Jeane will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Jeane's memory are her adoring daughters, Beth Miller and husband, Bob of Myrtle Beach & Cheryl Glickstein and husband, Bruce of Lynchburg, VA; six grandchildren, Aaron and wife, Christina, Geoffrey and wife, Rebecca, Courtney and husband, Daniel, Douglas and wife, Heather, Morgan and husband, William and Jonathan and wife, Caroline; thirteen great-grandchildren, Corine, Grant, Rachael, Stella, Cora, Elise, Sadie, Greyson, Mary Lynn, Wesley, Elizabeth, Katherine and Arthur; as well as a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Jeane's life will be held- date, time and location will be announced when finalized.
