James "Jim" Henry Snyder

James “Jim” Henry Snyder, 79, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Vibra Hospital of Charleston. He was born March 22, 1941 in Cementon, PA son of the late Joseph William Snyder and Ruth Oreda Butz Snyder.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother.

Survivors include his loving wife of twenty one years, Charmain M. Snyder of Murrells Inlet; one sister, Joann Beil of Palmerton, PA; one niece Rebecca Wheeler; and one nephew, James Beil.

Jim served in the United States Navy. He retired from Whitehall Cement Company in Cementon, PA. He was a member of the American Legion. In his spare time he enjoyed working out at the gym, working in his yard and spending time with his neighbors, Lyla and Holly.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made "In Memory of Jim Snyder" to the American Legion of Murrells Inlet, PO Box 478, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
