James "Jim" Allcorn, III Obituary

James “Jim” Marshall Allcorn III, age 77, of Myrtle Beach, formerly of Atlanta GA., and Miami, FL., passed away on November 10, 2021 at Grand Strand Medical center. Jim was born in Miami FL., to the late James Marshall Allcorn II and Cephalide Rebecca Guttman.

James is an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and bird watching in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by mother in law, Theresa Balasco, his sister in law, Barbara Hilderbrant and niece Franchesca Ummel.

Survivors include his wife Connie Balasco Allcorn of Myrtle Beach, SC; his son James Marshall Allcorn IV of Marietta GA.; his fur baby Maxine; two great nieces Stephanie Tucker and Therese Carroll, his great great nephew Derrick Hanaway, great great niece Mykela Carroll, future daughter in law Ashley Rodarmel, and his four fur grandchildren Omaha, Archer, Makey and Koda.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on November 20, 2021 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.

In lieu of flowers, the family requested a memorial donation be made to Angels Among Us Pet Rescue at www.angelsrescue.org/donate or The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
