James Edward Miedzinski

James Edward Miedzinski, 84, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday October 28, 2023 at his home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was born on April 14, 1939 in Leonardtown, Maryland to the late John & Irva McKay Miedzinski.

Along with his parents, James is reunited in passing with his brothers, Ralph, Bill, George & Phillip Miedzinski; and sisters, Doris Johnson, Shirley Copsey & Betty Conner.

James proudly served our country in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, James went on to work in collections, working his way up to manager. In his free time, James was a fantastic golfer who relished time spent on the course. The highlight of his golfing experience was golfing Pebble Beach. He also enjoyed making memories with his family and friends. James was a faithful man and was a member of the South Strand Assembly of God. Above all else, James loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish James’ memory are his adoring wife of over 57 years, Marion Kathleen Miedzinski of Myrtle Beach; sons, Justin Miedzinski of Myrtle Beach & Jonathan Miedzinski of Virginia; daughter, Jennifer Watts, of Virginia; grandsons, Jordan and Jacob; brother, Wayne Miedzinski; several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Funeral Service in celebration of James’ life will be held on Sunday November 5, 2023 at 3:30PM at South Strand Assembly of God, 3507 US-17 Bus., Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will gather to greet friends from 2:30pm, until the time of service. Burial with military honors will be held 10:00AM Monday, November 6, 2023 at Florence National Cemetery, 803 E. National Cemetery Rd. Florence, SC 29506.
