James Ralph Huntington

James Ralph Huntington, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 16, 2026. He was born on December 9, 1954 in Auburn, New York to the late Paul Gordon Huntington & Ellen E. Currie Huntington.

Along with his parents Jim is reunited in passing with his beloved wife, Mrs. Cathy Gorman Huntington.

James was a hardworking man who appreciated the simple things in life. He was a skilled insurance broker for many years where he established life-long connections. In his free time and especially in his younger years, Jim enjoyed classic cars, golfing and being outdoors. Later in life, Jim still appreciated buying, selling and restoring vintage cars, cooking meals for his friends and soaking in all life had to offer. He was an avid animal lover who appreciated the companionship of both cats and dogs. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Jim’s memory are his adoring friends, Karen Haas of Little River; Jeff Moffet of Conway; sons, James Huntington, II; & Bryan Huntington; grandchildren, Samuel and Catherine Huntington; Jim also leaves his two sisters; a niece and several nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held privately.
