Ida Phillips

Ida Phillips, 83, of Andrews, passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on February 13, 2020. She was born March 28, 1936 in Andrews, SC, a daughter to the late Lloyd L. Hardee Sr. and Anzie Thomas Hardee. Ida was preceded in death by both of her parents, as well as her sister Annie Jane Rogers, her niece Julie Burke and her son James “Harry” Lee.

In life, Ida worked as a restaurant waitress. Above all else, Ida loved her family and being a mom and grandma. She is survived by a large and loving family, including her five devoted children; Milton Hardee (Nicky) of Myrtle Beach, Valerie Waldrop (JR) of Andrews, Alicia Amerson (Michael) of Georgetown, Kimberly Marsh (Barry) of Manning, John Harris (Mike) of Andrews; her brother Lloyd L. Hardee Jr. (Mildred Ann) of Georgetown; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 nieces, 2 nephews and many other extended family members, friends and neighbors.

A memorial service to honor Ida will be held at a later date to be announced at the convenience of the family.
