Harvey Studer Obituary

Harvey C. Studer, 95, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday May 23, 2022 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was born on February 25, 1927 in Wooster, Ohio to the late Harvey Studer & Zulma Minoufet Studer.

Along with his parents, Harvey is reunited in passing with his wife, Mary Ross Studer; brothers, Frank, Martin, John, Paul & Daniel Studer; as well as his sister, Helen Simpson.

Harvey proudly served our country in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. Following his honorable discharge, he went on to become a skilled fire sprinkler fitter. After many dedicated years of installing fire suppressant sprinklers, Harvey was able to retire and enjoy the finer things in life. He became a member of the American Legion where he took pride in helping within his community. Above all else, Harvey loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Harvey’s memory are his daughter, Kim Saunders of Murrells Inlet; granddaughter, Stacy (Richard) Flores of Murrells Inlet; grandson, Jesse Samples, of Columbus, GA; nine great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; brothers, David Studer of Wooster, OH, Joe Studer of Pocasset, OK & Samuel (Marjorie) Studer of Sandusky, OK; sister, Marie Campbell of Wooster, OH; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Harvey’s life will be held at the American Legion, Post 178, 3950 US17 Bus. Murrells Inlet, SC 29576, on Saturday June 11, 2022 from 1:00PM until 3:00PM.
