Harry Clifton Racey, Jr., 52, of Garden City, SC, formerly of Culpeper, VA passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at his residence. He was born June 23, 1973, in Culpeper, VA son of the late, Harry Clifton Racey, Sr. and Shirley Patricia Corbin Racey.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Jeannette Troy.
Survivors include his beloved wife of thirty two years, Ranee Barbara Racey of Garden City, SC; daughters, Kaila Jenee Apperson and her husband, Christopher of Fredericksburg, VA, Zoe Brianne Racey and her fiancé, Tyler Johnson of Catlett, VA, and Jenna Irelynn Dodson and her husband, Jordon Dodson of Madison, VA; a sister, Kaity Wright; two nieces, Patricia Wolfe and Katlin Lacy; grandchildren, Maddox Clifton Racey-Apperson, Landon Ethan Apperson, Tyler Daniel Johnson; as well as several extended family members.
Cliff was a member of the Ellis Mine Hunting Club where he served as President. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoying hunting, fishing, boating and attending his grandsons sporting events. One of his favorite hobbies was being an artisan of moonshine, as well as a connoisseur. He was always willing and ready to lend a hand to a friend or neighbor.
The family will receive friends from 2-4pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made in Cliff’s name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Organization, www.pancan.org
