Harold was employed for almost 30 years as a millwright at RMI Sodium in Ashtabula, and later worked in industrial maintenance at Zeneca Ag. Co. and Millenium Chemicals. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially fond of hunting.  He took great pride in bagging a 16 point buck with a bow and arrow, and was usually successful each year in deer season. Harold had a knack for repairing just about anything around the house, and even built a gun cabinet, a ping pong table, a picnic table and a dining room table/chairs set for their home.  He loved camping and took his family traveling to many states with his camper.  Harold was a member of the Surfside Beach Moose Lodge, was a longtime member of the East Ashtabula Club, and a Golden Age Member of the Ashtabula Fraternal Order of Eagles for 58 years. He loved music and enjoyed singing along with his favorite classic country songs.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.  Having a love of nature and animals, he really enjoyed feeding the wild turkeys and deer that came into his backyard. Watching The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians games was a favorite pastime of his. Harold loved spending time with his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all of them.
