Grover C. Allen

Grover C. Allen, age 79, formerly of Middletown, OH passed away Monday July 12, 2021 at his Murrells Inlet residence.

Born in Jackson, KY, Grover was the son of the late Leburn Allen and Nazzie (Parks) Allen.  An avid golfer, Grover also enjoyed bowling, singing in church and especially spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters, Georgia Case, Alice Combs; Lula Allen; brother, Edward Allen; son in laws, Edward South and Keith Phillips.

Survivors include his loving wife, Karen Allen of Murrells Inlet; daughters, Lisa Allen of Conway; Jacinda Phillips of Murrells Inlet; grandchildren, Haley Floyd, Cassie South, Ashley Johnson, Nathan Starkweather, Zachery Allen, Aiden Pridgen, Aubree Sherrock;  great grandchildren, Elijah South, Jayce South, Joshua South, Rhiannon Hunt, Emberliegh Hunt; sisters Mary Jett of Trenton, OH; Josephine Collins and her husband B.J. of Trenton, OH; brother, Gary Elam and his wife Debbie of Middletown, OH.

No public service will be held. A private family service will be announced at a later date.

The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Heartland Hospice for the love and care given to Grover and his family.
