Goldie Dean Sarvis, 65, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday June 14, 2020 at her home in Conway, South Carolina. She was born in Conway on November 13, 1954 to the late Lewis Manning Cooper & Gracie Jane (Roberts) Cooper.
Along with her parents, Goldie is reunited in passing with her sister, Yvonne Cooper; and her grandparents, Olin & Beatrice Thompkins Cooper & Joseph & Emma Roberts.
Goldie had a personality larger than life and a smile to match. In her younger years, she was a food counter clerk for Ny’s Pharmacy in Conway. In her free time, Goldie enjoyed playing games on her tablet, watching her favorite shows- The Walton’s & Gunsmoke; and above all else, making memories with those around her. Goldie was a faithful woman and loved our Lord and Savior. She will forever be remembered for her sassy attitude, caring demeanor, strength and ability to find the positive in any situation.
Left to cherish Goldie’s memory are her beloved children, James "Jamie" Sarvis (Lwania) of Kingstree, SC, Crystal Harter (Michael) of Conway, & Curtis Sarvis (Tracey Thomas) of Myrtle Beach; six grandsons; one great-granddaughter; sisters, Carolyn Prashaw of Conway, Betty Ward of Loris, & Linda Pritchett (Joseph) of Conway; brothers, Robert Cooper (Karen) of Myrtle Beach & Thomas Cooper (Marie) of Loris; her uncle, Mayo Roberts and his wife, Dusty of Conway; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A Celebration of Goldie’s life will be held privately at a later date.
