George Ralph Patrick Sell

George Ralph Patrick Sell, 81, of Murrells Inlet, SC, formerly of Westminster, MD, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. He was born February 4, 1942, in Baltimore, MD son of the late Ralph Patrick Sell and Lola Sell.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Barry Sell.

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-six years, Mary Regina Sell; sons, Chris Sell of Swansboro, NC and Robert Sell and his wife, Lisa of Murrells Inlet, SC; sister-in-law, Margaret Parnas who absolutely adored him, of Las Vegas, NV; niece, Jennifer Elks; grandchildren, Lucy Sell, Jordan Sell, Brandon Sell, Emily Spencer, Heidi Spencer, Ryan Sell and Logan Sell; and great-grandchildren, Zachary Sell, Joshua Sell, Scarlotte Sell and Claire Sell.

George proudly served four years with the US Army Reserves. He was employed with Knott Remodeling, Baltimore Life Insurance and Hayes Construction.

George enjoyed building models of railroads, US History and Civil War History, fishing, and especially cheering on the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles.

There are no formal services planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made in George’s name to a charity of one’s choice.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Croatan Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center in NC and Gentiva Hospice of Murrells Inlet, SC.
