Gary Burnham Obituary

Gary P. Burnham, 80, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach. He was born on May 5, 1941 in Cortland, New York to the late Carl & Alice (Camp) Burnham.

Left to cherish Gary's memory are his adoring wife of 58 years, Dorothy "Dottie" (Stockham) Burnham of Murrells Inlet; their daughters: Jillian (Keith) of Philadelphia, Pa, Amy of Issaquah, Wa. and their granddaughters, Katherine "Katie" and Allison Buhl, Emily and Spohie Zebala. His sisters, Karen Burnham of Pueblo, Co and Karla and her husband Larry Sharpsteen of Lansing, NY.

Gary managed the New Vehicle Option Center for Mack Truck in Winnsboro, SC. He loved fishing in the creeks of Murrells Inlet. Most of all, he lived a life of Christian faith and enjoyed being a member of Belin United Methodist Church.

An informal Celebration of Gary's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday June 9, 2021, at the Belin UMC Cross, in front of the sea wall, 4183 Highway 17 Bus., Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
