Along with his parents, Freddie is reunited in passing with his sister, Virginia “Ginny”; brother Arthur "Porky"; as well as his best friend, Charlie Scott.
Freddie proudly served our country in the United States Army. Following his Army service, and true to his many talents, he enjoyed work in a variety of fields. In his free time, Freddie loved to surround himself with music. He enjoyed Motown, R&B, classic rock, and the blues. Freddie’s love for singing led him to partner with guitar player, Charlie Scott. Freddie and Charlie played countless shows together and were a beloved and renowned part of the musical community.
Freddie’s outgoing personality made any stranger quickly turn into a friend. Freddie could spend hours telling stories and recanting his one-of-a-kind experiences. He was a kind, selfless man, who was available to anyone in need, day or night. Freddie also enjoyed time spent doing crossword puzzles, playing Scrabble, watching SciFi, playing Jeopardy, and following sports year-round. Above all else, Freddie loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his quick wit, bright smile, and the love he had for music and his family.
