Frank Smith

Francis (Frank) Joseph Smith, 88, of Surfside Beach, SC, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020, at home with his family by his side.  Frank was born July 17, 1931 to the late Francis Smith and Ann Marie Wallace Smith.

In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his brothers Jerome and Gene and sister Mary Ann.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Veronica (Ronny) Harkins Smith of Surfside Beach, SC; two daughters Nancy Angley and husband David, and Judy Angela Smith; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Phillips (Christopher), Erin Boyle (Kieran), and Kevin Angley; six great grandchildren; a brother, Donald Smith, and his brother-in-law Walter Harkins; as well as several loving nephews and nieces.

Frank was a friend of Bills for 26 years. He proudly served as a United States Air Force Private in the Korean War from 1951-1954. He was also a member of the Murrells Inlet, SC VFW Post 10420.

A memorial mass will be held at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, 1633 Waverly Rd, Pawleys Island, SC 29585, on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 11:00 AM.
