Francis L. (Link) Murray

Francis L.  Murray, age 87, of Myrtle Beach, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

Fran was born March 26, 1939 in Aurora, North Carolina to the late Vance Washington Link and Francis Phelps Link.  Along with her parents, Fran is reunited in passing with her two sisters.

Fran was a faithful woman with a servant’s heart. She was an active member of Gathering Community Church where she made lifelong friends. In her free time, Fran enjoyed the quiet life. Above any and all else, Fran loved her family with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Fran’s memory are her daughter, Paula Atkins Latta and her husband, Stephen; son, Billy Atkins; grandchildren, Scott Atkins, Wayne Atkins, Haley Atkins, Amber Hanna and Kimberly Hobgood; several great-grandchildren; brother, Vance Link; sister, Jackie O’Neal as well as several nieces and nephews; a large, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Fran’s life will be held on March 14, 2026 at 1PM at Gathering Community Church, 9661 SC 707, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588.
