Francis Joseph Luksa

Francis Joseph Luksa, Sr., 83, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of NJ, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025. He was born on August 14, 1942, in Newark, NJ, son of the late, Andrew and Mary (Postawa) Luksa.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Andrew Luksa; as well as two sisters, Theresa and Veronica.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Jaqueline Luksa of Myrtle Beach, SC.

Son Francis Joseph Luksa, Jr. and his wife, MaryElla of Myrtle Beach, SC; three daughters, Theresa Prymak and her husband, Leonard of Myrtle Beach, SC, Michelle Broughton and her husband, Kevin of Monroe Township, NJ and Lisa Luksa of Myrtle Beach, SC.

Grandchildren, Mirranda, Hunter, Grace, Trinity, Ashley, Hadassah, Erin, Madison, Zachary and Azara; great grandchild, Elianna.

Stepsons, Kevin Brocklehurst and his wife, Angie Barboni of Bridgewater, NJ, and Warren Brocklehurst and his wife, Agatha.

Siblings, Agness of Middlesex, NJ, Mary Ann of Flemington, NJ, Frances of Fords, NJ, Barbara of Arizona and John of Middlesex, NJ.

Francis proudly served in the United States Airforce. He loved spending time with his family and friends as well as hunting, fishing and boating. If you knew him, some of the best times spent with him were on our pontoon boat where we had wonderful times and the various other boats as well.

A celebration of Francis’ life will be held at a later date; those times will be announced once arrangements are finalized.

His children would like to extend a special thanks to his loving wife, Jaqueline, known to Francis as “Sweetie”, she was and always will be his saving grace.
