Frances Anita Schilling
Obituary
Frances Anita Schilling, 99, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 15, 2023. Frances was born in Waco, TX to the late James and Dorothy Green Caswell.
Frances served in the US Navy during WWII and was stationed in San Francisco, CA. She was a family-oriented person who was loved by many. Frances was an avid reader who also liked to travel, enjoyed gardening, crocheting and knitting. She loved her Texas sports teams especially the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys and Baylor University.
Frances is survived by her children, Charles Schilling (Gail), Patricia Caffarello (Anthony), Paul Schilling (Irina) and Arthur Schilling (Mary); seven grandchildren, Tracey, Laura, James, Colleen, Allee, Charles, and Erick; and nine great grandchildren, Timothy, Joshua, Carly, Audrey, Vivian, Lillya, Maverick, Dmitry, Kiera.
In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband, Arthur R. Schilling; two sisters, Barbara Nelder, and Sarah Day; and a cousin, L. J. Tanner.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Frances’s memory to, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Salvation Army.
